Samuel Faustine

 
Samuel Faustine (tenor), a San Francisco native, received Master’s Degree this May from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Since his return to the City in 2013, Sam has performed a variety of genres ranging from baroque opera to modern musical theater. He has most recently performed the roles of Liberto in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Monteverdi), Ralph Rackstraw and Candide, both with Lamplighter Music Theatre’s productions of H.M.S. Pinafore and Candide, and Private Fector in Dogfight! (Pasek and Paul). Sam is also an active member of the Bay Area’s sacred music and choral community, and frequently performs around the region, most notably with Volti SF, and Grace Cathedral where he sings counter-tenor in addition to tenor. Sam completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Puget Sound.
